A multimedia presentation featuring the maps, paintings, photographs, instruments and weapons from 2000 years of Pacific voyage and exploration.  With the option of a sub-unit featuring Captain Cook's Pacific voyages.    Adaptable to any level 

H2   COOK'S COAST                  

Captain James Cook and the written record.  Featuring Ship Cove, Motuara Island, Wharehunga Bay and Cannibal Cove.  An interpretative tour of these important sites as seen through the eyes of Cook and other early European observers.  Full Day Trip.   Years 6 - 13

H9   URBAN HERITAGE TRAILS

Old and new merge on these walking expeditions guided by folders of historic photos and pupil task booklets. Illustrates how dramatically Marlborough's principal centres have changed in 100+ years.  Allow 1 - 1½ hours·

H10   BEAVERTOWN PHOTO-ORIENTEERING

A chance for students to run off some energy exploring the fascinating replica village and shop displays of Olde Beavertown. Certificates for all the winners.  30 - 40 mins. All levels.

Where did that street name or place-name come from? A fascinating way to study the history of your area. Options - Place Names of Blenheim or Havelock/Pelorus or Renwick or Kaikoura. Ask us to develop one for your area.  Adaptable to any level.
